Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using any service under the JOSFOX LLC ("JOSFOX") ecosystem — including but not limited to josfox.dev, josfox.cloud, josfox.store, josfox.ai, foxtana.ai, and all josfox.* domains — you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Services

JOSFOX provides AI-powered digital services including website building (KRMEN), AI assistant (FOXTANA), domain registration, digital marketplace, education, and enterprise software. Services may change, expand, or be discontinued with reasonable notice.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials
You must be 16 years or older to create an account
One person or legal entity per account unless authorized for enterprise use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Use services for unlawful purposes or to violate any applicable laws
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any service, system, or network
Transmit malware, spam, or harmful content
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any JOSFOX software
Use automated systems to scrape or extract data without permission
Impersonate any person or entity
Interfere with the proper functioning of our services

5. Intellectual Property

The .jos format specification is licensed under Apache 2.0 with patent grant. JOSFOX runtime engines (HERMES, ATHENA, ALAIA, GENESIS) are licensed under BSL 1.1 (converting to Apache 2.0 after 4 years). The JOSFOX Store, Marketplace, and associated branded materials are proprietary. You retain ownership of content you create using our tools.

6. Payment & Billing

Paid services are billed according to published pricing at time of purchase
All charges are processed through HERMES with CAISHEN billing guardian
Charge-first, refund-on-failure: your balance is debited before external API calls
Refunds are processed automatically if service delivery fails
Subscription cancellations take effect at end of billing period

7. AI Services & FOXTANA

FOXTANA AI provides responses based on its training and context. AI outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific purpose. You are responsible for verifying AI-generated content. Every AI call is metered (HERMES INV-1) and graded (ATHENA ATH-001).

8. Domain Services

Domain registration is subject to ICANN policies and registrar terms. Domain availability is not guaranteed until registration is confirmed. JOSFOX acts as a reseller through authorized registrars.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JOSFOX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JOSFOX, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the services or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use services ceases immediately. Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy timeline.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

13. Changes

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated 30 days in advance via email or prominent notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
